What Kind of World...? is an educational programme designed to teach youth about the United Nations System and global issues from a Canadian perspective. It Draws links between local and global issues and highlights the role of Canada in the UN and the UN in daily life. At the heart of the What Kind of World...? Package are three lesson plans which aim to teach students the basics of the UN system and a number of critical global issues. The sessions are geared towards interactive learning and allowing youth to develop their own ideas and opinions about global issues.
This web site is intended for What Kind of World...? volunteers. It provides information and resources useful for volunteers who want to begin presenting the programme in their community, or who want help setting up additional presentations.
